Find tickets for events run by university clubs and student societies. Check the date, venue, organiser and total price before you book, then keep your digital ticket ready for the door.

How it works

  1. Check the event. Find the date, venue and organiser on the event page. Choose a ticket and review the total, including any fees, before you pay.
  2. Open your confirmation email. Your ticket link is in the email. Open it without an account, or save the ticket to your Societi account.
  3. Show the code at the door. The organiser scans your QR code when you arrive. Save it to your phone beforehand if reception could be patchy.

For club and society events at The University of Queensland. Check the event page for dates, venues and available tickets.

Societi is independent of the university and UQU. Ticket availability is set by the organiser.

Who sells university tickets on Societi?

The organiser running the event sells the tickets. Societi provides the event page, booking and digital ticket tools. Check the event page for the organiser’s details before you book.

Is there a booking fee?

Organisers set ticket prices. Any applicable booking or processing fees are included in the total shown before you pay. Check the event’s ticket options and refund policy before completing your booking.

How does the ticket work at the door?

Open your ticket in Societi and show the QR code at the door. Save it to your phone before you arrive so it is ready even if reception is patchy.

Can I get a refund, or give my ticket to someone else?

Check the organiser’s refund policy before booking. Your Australian Consumer Law rights still apply; read Societi’s refund policy for details. Transfer and resale options depend on the event. If an option is available, use it in Societi rather than sharing a screenshot of your ticket.

Do I need to download an app to hold a ticket?

No. Societi runs in a browser at societi.app and can be installed to a home screen if you want it there. Open your tickets from your confirmation email. You can also save them to your Societi account.

Are UQ tickets on Societi official?

Tickets are sold by the UQ clubs and societies hosting the events. Societi is independent of The University of Queensland and UQU.
